Through this, Rich Alien plans to aggressively develop its business to target the global market with high-quality mid-core casual games based on popular IP.
Starting with this investment, Rich Alien plans to launch the urban management simulation game "Kaiji: City of Furious" based on the IP of Japan's famous cartoon "Gambling Look Kaiji" globally, starting in Japan in the second half of this year.
"Cascade Kings," a three-matching puzzle game, will also be released globally starting in North America within this year. Cascade Kings is a social game in which users compete by raiding, looting, and defending their villages with goods acquired through three matches.
Rich Alien was founded back in 2021 as a 111 percent subsidiary. It was established to focus on creating immersive mobile games, from casual, globally oriented social games to popular animation and webtoon IP-based mid-core games.
Director Choi Sung-wook, who joined Rich Alien as 111 percent business strategy director, is the representative of Rich Alien. He is in charge of Rich Alien based on his business achievements and experience, such as serving as the team leader of the game business team at Kakao and business general and external cooperation at Line Games.
